On Sunday night, we popped over to Hackney Wick for an outdoor cinematic experience! The Folly for a Flyover team created a lovely wooden structure poking it’s roof through the East and Westbound traffic on the A12.
They hosted a slew of summer events and I meandered over for the last night, a screening of “Spirited Away”, a Japanese Animated film. Sadly, as it was a Sunday, I couldn’t stay to the very end, and had to make a mammoth trek back to Camden (missed the last train). I was told there were lanterns on the canal after the film finished, and magical boat rides.. next year, I’ll make sure I go earlier on!
